Bade Ghar Ki Chhoti Bahu ; 7 January 2026 |- Durga Devi exposes Poltu

The story begins with Durga Devi's promise to Ahana. She says she will make Arjun apologize.

But Ahana clearly states that if Arjun doesn't apologize from the heart, he will lose her forever. The next morning, while there is a tense atmosphere in the house, the priestess remains unaffected. A delivery boy arrives in the hall with numerous shopping bags. The priestess rushes over and happily exclaims, "Wow, my things have arrived!" When Poltu sees the bill, his eyes widen in disbelief.

₹10,000. Poltu quietly asks the priestess, "Why did you order so much? I don't have that much cash right now." The priestess shouts in front of everyone, "So what? Pay online! I need these things." The delivery boy says, "Sir, if you don't have the money, why are you wasting our time? Are we standing here for free?" Defeated, Poltu reluctantly pays the money. After being humiliated at home, Poltu secretly leaves.

But he doesn't know that Durga Devi is keeping a close eye on him. She is convinced that Poltu is the one responsible for the rift between Arjun and Ahana. Durga Devi secretly follows him. She sees Poltu meeting two of Ahana's office colleagues, Gopal and Ashish, in a deserted park. Durga Devi hides behind a tree, takes out her phone, and starts recording a video. Poltu is laughing and saying, "I have to hand it to you, guys, you gave me the information at the perfect time.

Ahana is coming with the boss, and that photo editing... Arjun was completely furious! Here, take your money, enjoy yourselves. My plan to provoke Arjun worked." Durga Devi, standing at a distance, hears all this, and the ground slips from under her feet. All of Poltu's words are now recorded on Durga Devi's phone. So friends, if you also want Arjun to apologize to Ahana, please write "I support Ahana" in the comments. As soon as Poltu leaves, Durga Devi confronts Gopal and Ashish like a lioness.

They both recognize Durga Devi and are terrified. Durga Devi is scolding them when, by chance, the boss happens to be driving by in his car. Hearing the commotion, he stops. Gopal and Ashish are stunned to see the boss. Durga Devi shows the boss the recording and tells him the whole truth. "Sir, these two employees of yours, along with Poltu, a member of my family, have set fire to my son and Ahana's marriage." The boss is furious. He grabs Gopal by the collar.

"You tarnished a woman's honor for a few rupees! Come with me to Arjun's house right now. Confess the truth, otherwise I'll send you straight to jail and fire you from your job." Fearing the police, Gopal and Ashish agree to tell the truth. Everyone returns to Arjun's house. Arjun is still sulking, and Ahana is about to leave for the office. The atmosphere is very somber. Just then, Durga Devi, the boss, Gopal, and Ashish enter. Arjun is about to lash out at the boss again, but Durga Devi shouts, "Stop, Arjun! Don't say a word!" First, Durga Devi takes out her phone in front of everyone and plays the recording. Poltu's voice echoes in the silence.

"My plan to instigate Arjun was successful." Gopal also kneels down and confesses everything. "Arjun sir, please forgive us. Poltu gave us money to turn you against Ahana madam." Arjun is stunned to learn the truth. He can't believe that his own elder brother betrayed him so badly. There are tears and anger in Arjun's eyes. He slowly walks towards Poltu. Poltu recoils in fear and looks at his ex-wife, Manjali, perhaps hoping she will save him. But Manjali picks up her daughter and turns away in disgust. Now Poltu is left alone. He stammers, "Hey Chhotu, this recording is fake." But then, crack! Arjun slaps Poltu hard across the face with all his might.

The slap is so powerful that Poltu falls onto the sofa. Arjun roars, "From today onwards, you are no longer my brother. You have betrayed my trust. Get out of my sight!" After teaching Poltu a lesson, Arjun goes to Ahana. He is ashamed. His eyes are downcast. He takes Ahana's hands, kneels down, and says, "Ahana, please forgive me. I fell for the words of strangers and doubted my wife. I am a terrible husband. Don't leave me." Ahana, who had been so stern until now, melts. She wipes Arjun's tears and says, "Arjun, I understand. When your own brother is sowing discord and there is false evidence right before your eyes, even the truth seems like a lie in such a situation.

It wasn't your fault, it was the circumstances." Durga Devi steps forward and hugs them both. "Thank goodness my home was saved from breaking apart today." The boss also smiles, seeing that his efforts have paid off. But friends, the story isn't over yet. The priestess, standing at a distance, is watching this whole spectacle. Today she has seen that Poltu is not only penniless but also a deceitful and beaten man, who has no respect in his own home. When Poltu fell to the ground, the priestess didn't even try to help him up; instead, she moved away, protecting her expensive saree. A dangerous glint is now in the priestess's eyes.
